Something not working, or something to tell us? Write to contact@commit.md. It helps to say which device you play on, the app version, and what you saw.
How do I play?
- Move: touch the dish and drag; your cell follows your thumb. A tap sets a heading. In a browser or on a Mac, your cell follows the pointer.
- Eat: glide over pellets and over cells smaller than you. Anything bigger than you can eat you.
- Split (Space on a Mac or in a browser) throws half of you forward, to catch something that is getting away. The pieces merge again after a while; the ring around your mass shows how long.
- Eject (W on a Mac or in a browser) shoots a little mass ahead of you.
- Burrs, the green spiked ones, burst any cell big enough to swallow them. Hide behind one when you are small; keep clear when you are big.
The game cannot join a dish
Cells Arena is online only. Check your connection and try again; some networks block the game's traffic (QUIC, on UDP port 443), so switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data is worth a try. If it still cannot join, make sure you have the latest version from the store. In a browser, the game needs a current browser with WebTransport (current Chrome, Edge or Firefox, or Safari 26.4 or later), and reloading the page is the web's equivalent of updating from the store.
The game feels laggy
The dish runs on a server in the United States. The farther from it you play, the later your moves arrive.
Are the other cells real players?
Some are. A dish holds 150 cells, and computer-controlled ones fill every seat no player has taken, so there is always something to chase and something to run from.
Do I need an account?
No. You play as a guest; the game keeps a random key on your device and that is all. See the privacy policy for what is stored and how to have it deleted.
